Jim Alfredson - Hammond organ, keys, & vocals
Root Doctor is very fortunate to have Jim Alfredson as their keyboardist and musical director. Jim's love and interest of music predates even his earliest childhood memories. Drawn to the drawbars on his father's Hammond B3 even before he was four, dad recalls little Jimmy fixating on the whole concept of keys.

By the age of eight, Jim was already composing and recording his own material. He landed his first paying gig with seasoned professionals twice his age, when he was merely sixteen.
A little over a decade later, Jim has grown into a musician of world-class caliber with musical sensibilities beyond his years. His "other" project, organissimo , is a multi-award winning jazz trio that has garnered both rave international reviews and international airplay. A fine organist, vocalist, songwriter, and studio engineer, Jim's contribution to Root Doctor is immense.
When asked what his main influences were, Jim had only this to say: "I have my favorites for sure, but everything I listen to eventually finds its way into the music.”
Jim is endorsed by Hammond-Suzuki USA.
